Beaver Stadium is a enormous structure. It is full of a countless number of chairs, and as well as lots of lights, so many that they light up the sky at night. At the center of this is the football field where Ohio State was vanquished.
This experience is what made we realize that Beaver Stadium is like a beacon that everyone can follow back to Penn State, like a sailor uses a lighthouse to know where land is. This makes Beaver Stadium the heart and Spirit of Penn State because it helps to pull people back and lead them back home.
On the one side of Beaver Stadium, is a Lion Prowling along the windows. This lion itself looks like a ghostly spirit watching over everyone in and around the stadium. This lion, as the symbol of our university, is the protector as well as the embodiment of the spirit at Penn State. It is because of this that everyone who enters of Beaver Stadium is filled with spirit to cheer for our victory.
Beaver Stadium personifies the spirit of Penn State immensely, but it also fairly pays homage to its competitors in the Big Ten. Through a series of windows on an upper floor, flags from the other Big Ten teams can be seen. This shows just how much spirit there is in Beaver Stadium. No matter what Big Ten team comes to visit, the symbol of their own team is seen. This adds to their school spirit at game, fighting off against the tremendous school spirit here at Penn State. Beaver Stadium is pretty much a spirit factory, sending out a great amount of spirit to everyone who comes near it.
Beaver Stadium is truly a lighthouse that pulls all spirited lovers of Penn State home. Along with pulling people into the spirit, Beaver Stadium also produces an endless amount of spirit for everyone who comes anywhere near its great walls. Beaver Stadium, home of the Nittany Lions is also the home of our spirit here at Penn State.
